After a fight to preserve the former school, organizers of the German-American Museum in St. Lucas are turning their attention to the long-term.

The final Sunday of the year saw dozens turn out for a chance to check out the museum.

“[I suspect] we had over 80 persons,” said Clair Blong, president of the historical society.
