NFV Hosts Area Track Competition

South Winneshiek women took fifth place Friday in West Union, and the men had third place.

The Warriors’ Ellie Loesch took third place for South Winneshiek in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.89. Crestwood’s Katie Saner (12.50) had first place. Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Krayton Allen (12.87) had second place.

South Winneshiek’s Felicity Taylor had second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:30.91. Crestwood’s Ellie Friesen (2:21.54) had first place. Crestwood’s Emily Friesen had third place (2:33.59).

South Winneshiek’s Olivia Massman had second place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:15.00. NFV’s Ryin Lehmman had first place with a time of 1:10.67. Oelwein’s Drew Becker (1:15.13) had third place.
