SW Men See Two Victories

A win against Postville got action started for the Warriors, 58-37.

“A great win for us against a very well coached Postville team,” said coach Blake Moen by email Dec. 11. “We knew going into this game that we would have to play a complete 4 quarters, and I was proud with how our guys handled adversity and play[ed] on the road….I was also very proud of Cole Klimesh, as he showed great leadership throughout the game and kept our guys under control on the floor for the entire game. We have to continue to get better, but I was happy with our overall performance to get this conference win.”

Cole Klimesh led South Winneshiek in scoring with 19 points. Levi Lukes had 9, and Collin Wiltgen and Jacob Herold had 7.

Paul Hageman had 5, and Noah Tieskoetter had 4. Carter Wenthold had 3, and Jaron Todd and Abe Schmitt had 2.
