Turkey Valley Women Begin Season

New Hampton hosted Turkey Valley Nov. 26 for a 25-64 night.

“Our season opener was more lopsided than we had hoped for, but it was great to see our girls keep fighting and never give up,” said coach Carla Nymeyer. “Our overall inexperience and nerves contributed to some unforced turnovers, and New Hampton’s aggressive and physical play caused many turnovers. It is good to get the season rolling and have a starting point. We saw some really good things and definitely parts of our game that we need to improve on as the season progresses.”
