Unemployment Claims Show Slowing Pace
The rate of job loss is slowing for Iowa, but unemployment claims have now more than quadrupled since government-ordered business closures began.
New claims from April 12 through April 18 numbered 27,912.
That is on top of 151,846 existing claims for a total of 179,757 claims.
