Track season’s first meet saw Emma Barness take a lifetime best in the shot put (27-03, 35th) and Emma Barton-O'Donnel (12.02, 47th in the preliminaries) do likewise in the 55-meter hurdles.

By email March 13, coach Kevin Kearney said getting a couple at the first indoor meet was surprising.

“We were very happy with our first competition,” said Kearney.
