Area Legislators Discuss Voting

Northeast Iowa legislators discussed possible changes to Iowa’s pre-election day voting laws during a public forum at the Arlington Community Center March 16.

Five northeast Iowa state senators and representatives were on hand to speak with more than 50 people, with the voting topic dominating the early part of conversation. Different bills are currently being debated in the Iowa legislature – one in the State Senate and one in the House of Representatives.
