False Complaint Causes Grief

A report of a burglary in process drew a rapid response from emergency personnel on a wild goose chase.

During the early morning hours Friday, a 911 call came in to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

A caller said the crime had taken place at a Waucoma business and said he had been shot with the suspect “on foot.”
