Historic Site Sees Makeover

An iconic home with deep ties to the city’s history has been getting a facelift.

Taylor Made, a bed and breakfast owned by John and Shirley Mikota, is the beneficiary of restoration work over the course of a year.

Shirley called it “hundreds and hundreds of hours,” as she gave a tour of some of the work recently.
