Pirates Plundered: South Winneshiek Boys’ Basketball Wins Season Opener

The South Winneshiek boys’ basketball season is off to a 2-1 start with wins over Postville and MFL MarMac and a single loss so far to Crestwood.
Action started for the season with 52-50 win over the Pirates.
The performance of the Warriors left South Winneshiek Coach Blake Moen pleased.
“Overall we were pleased with our performance tonight,” said Moen.
Crestwood battled the Warriors Thursday as they Cadets beat South Winneshiek for a 56-31 finish.
Moen noted the Warriors improved from the first game.
