Powerful Message

It was October 16, 2010 and Luther College football player, 18 year old Chris Norton is ready to make a game changing play. He goes for the play, but what happens next was beyond what anyone had ever fathomed. Chris ends up motionless on the field with no movement or feeling below the neck. He suffers a severe spinal cord injury that leaves him in the hospital for the next 7 months and confined to a wheelchair. Chris was given a 3% chance to move anything below the neck, but his resilience, determination, and dedication to beating the odds, proved the odds really were just a number.

Chris committed his daily life to therapy and overcoming his limitations. Slowly, those limitations started to turn into new accomplishments. Chris soon realized that his attitude and effort would be life changing for him. If he had the right attitude and put in every ounce of effort he had, then he would get results. And results Chris got. He beat the odds and has mobility below the neck. He was able to walk across the stage at his college graduation and in just a couple of weeks, plans on walking his finance 7 yards down the aisle to marry her.
