Referee Rules Revised

Area high school students might start officiating at games at South Winneshiek.

New rules announced June 10 by the Iowa High School Athletic Association allow for sub-varsity games to be officiated, according to Chris Cuellar, communications director.

The move, approved by the Board of Control, takes effect next school year, and will only affect men.
