Schmitt Earns Crown

Jessica Schmitt, of Fort Atkinson, was crowned the 2018-2019 Iowa Dairy Princess Aug. 8.

Grace Howe, of Waukon, was crowned the Alternate Iowa Dairy Princess and Kassi Steinlage, of West Union, was named Miss Congeniality of the contest.

“I am honored to represent our state’s hardworking dairy farmers as the 65th Iowa Dairy Princess,” said Schmitt. “With this title, I will be able to be an ambassador for the industry, that I love, as I will be able to share my dairy story with consumers. I look forward to taking on this role and ensuring that everyone has an undeniably dairy experience!”
