Service Opportunity Planned

Catholic HEART Workcamp, a weeklong service camp for teenagers, will be coming to Calmar July 7 through 12. Adult leaders and 200 teens will be stationed at South Winneshiek High School and partnering with area agencies and churches to help those in need in the local and surrounding area.

“For 17 years, we have been partnering with Catholic Heart Workcamp as our summer service experience in many different areas including trips from Trinidad to the Twin Cities!,” said Patty Frana, director of religious education.
