Notice from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office by email March 13 said the Fayette County Secondary Roads Department was asking gravel roads be avoided by large vehicles and heavy equipment. The roads were “rapidly deteriorating,” the notice said with “travel hazardous in many areas.”
