South Winneshiek Boosts Special Education Staff

South Winneshiek will welcome John Mikota.

During the July 16 meeting of the school board, superintendent Kris Einck briefed the board on Mikota.

With Mikoka, a self-contained classroom is possible, discussion noted.

“John worked as a paraprofessional at the elementary/middle school a few years ago and did a great job for us,” said Einck by email July 18. “We are fortunate to have him back especially with his many years of experience as a special education teacher in Idaho.”
