South Winneshiek Sees Wins

It’s a promising season for South Winneshiek as the team secured a victory in its first game and steamrolled its opponents all week to prove Warrior baseball a powerhouse this year.

“The state class…ranked Warriors opened up the season on the road against Edgewood-Colesburg in a non-conference game,” said Alex Smith, coach. “The Warriors struck first in the scoring column with an rbi single by Cael Kuboushek in the top of the first."
