Turkey Valley Board Approves Alumni Group

A request from Turkey Valley’s agriculture instructor and FFA advisor Steve Pfaffle for an FFA alumni group was made to the Turkey Valley school board.

Students are “so excited about agriculture,” said Pfaffle.

Community service, involvement in radio spots on 95.1 “The Bull”™ and the upcoming National FFA Convention were all cited.

The goal of the alumni organization is to help sponsor activities.

Past membership in FFA would not be a requirement for membership, Pfaffle noted.

By email Thursday, Pfaffle provided a copy of his letter to the school board noting the creation of the school’s own Ag program and FFA in recent years.
