WC Approves Jail Deal

Agreement Could Be Worth Approximately $200,000

A deal to house Howard County inmates in Winneshiek County received approval Monday from Winneshiek County’s supervisors.

Winneshiek County Sheriff Dan Marx gave supervisors details about the deal, which he hopes will help to offset physical plant needs.

Supervisor Dean Thompson asked about an exit for the agreement.
