Heading into the final stretch, the snow seems to be melting.

Reached by email Dec. 13, Todd Shea, a warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service in La Crosse, Wisconsin, was doubtful about the odds.

“Not that great right now, but it's still a couple weeks out and there are some small chances that could bring us a little,” said Shea.
