Elmer Paul Hemesath, 80, of Ossian, died Monday, October 6, 2014, at Ossian Senior Hospice, Ossian, following a courageous battle with his long-term illness.

Visitation was on Friday, October 10, from 4-8 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Ossian, with a 4 p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary and a 7:30 p.m. Scripture Service. There was a one hour visitation before Mass time at the church on Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Ossian, with Msgr. Cletus Hawes as the Celebrant.

Inurnment followed at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery, Ossian.
