Bank Iowa-Lawler Region has Open House

The rain stayed away as Bank Iowa-Lawler Region celebrated the opening of their new facility located at 500 East Highway 24, just west of the Veteran’s Memorial in Lawler Wednesday evening, June 17. Bank President of Lawler Region, Renea Huinker did the honors of cutting the ribbon in front of the doors at 5 p.m. and welcomed all who came for the event.  The tours then began by staff members inside the beautiful bank until 8 p.m.  Outside in a large white tent, Lynch BBQ of Waucoma was busy serving close to 400 people during the event.  

Lawler is one of 24 Bank Iowa offices located throughout the state.  The Lawler region consists of four locations located in Lawler, Waucoma, New Hampton and Fredericksburg.

Construction of the new building began in August,
2014 and the bank’s first day of business was
June 8, 2015. The single-story brick and stone arch
itectural designed facility for Bank Iowa has an op
en
air feel with natural stone and earth tone colors.
