A drive through Winneshiek County right now will turn up some views of fall foliage, but one aspect can produce some headaches.
“….Winneshiek County’s topography poses many issues for emergency services,” said Winneshiek County Emergency Management Director Sean Snyder by email Oct. 5. “Though very beautiful, it is problematic. There are several places throughout the county where cell phones and our radios do not work….”
