Janet Monroe, 64, of Calmar,, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Funeral service was set for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Calmar Lutheran Church, 200 East St., Calmar, with burial in Calmar Lutheran Cemetery and visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 5 at Helms Funeral Home – French Chapel, 202 South Washington St., Calmar, and also, from 10 a.m. to the time of the service on Tuesday morning at the church.
