John Mashek, 91 of Calmar, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, at Wellington Place in Decorah.

Memorial Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was to be offered at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5,, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 304 S. Maryville St., Calmar, with burial at the church cemetery and visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 at Helms Funeral Homes/ French Chapel, 202 South Washington St.
