Three Arrested for Burglaries

After reports of burglaries in rural northern Winneshiek County, three arrests have been made.

Reports were made Jan. 5, launching an investigation that paid off Friday in arrests.

The sheriff’s office announced details Monday with Dalton L. Hagen, 27, of Cresco, charged with two counts of felony - third-degree burglary and one count of probation violation, a serious misdemeanor; Travis J. Olson, 39, of Cresco, charged with two counts of felony - third-degree burglary and Troy M. Sobolik, 51, of Cresco, charged with two counts of felony - third-degree burglary.

Law enforcement has credited assistance from Driftless Security Solutions in the investigation.

Search warrants were obtained and help obtained from both the Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Cresco Police Department.
