The Warriors advanced to state again this year but saw tournament hopes defeated with a loss to Don Bosco.
The week got off to a start as, in what has become a recurring theme for Warrior baseball during tournament, the rain started just over an hour before the game.
Nonetheless, the rain stopped in time for South Winneshiek to take the field against St. Ansgar in a rematch of the Warriors’ only loss this season.
