Following a rough 2019 with late planting, 2020 is bringing its own challenges.
From pandemic precautions to an early harvest, the situation can lead to exhaustion.
One effort will aim to bring a little relief to area farmers, though, as representatives from the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce will visit southwestern Winneshiek County.
The goal with DACC’s Stay Safe, Take a Break project is to hand out care packages in rural areas such as Fort Atkinson, Calmar and Jackson Junction.
