Turkey Valley school board members heard expenses are up a bit, with a clear culprit, though the numbers are not huge.
“A lot of that is COVID related,” said Superintendent Jay Jurrens.
One expense in particular is pretty logical with extra sanitation with water usage.
“Right now, we’re using between two and three thousand gallon extra a month,” said Jurrens.
Hand washing is being stressed. Cleaning is also a focus.
That situation is being echoed far and wide in a lot of places.
