A number of projects for Winneshiek County will move ahead thanks to grant funding, though the Secondary Roads budget remains an area of concern.
Monday morning’s meeting of the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors saw the county engineer’s office report over $1.3 million in grant funding.
Shoulder paving up to four feet in width on the Bluffton Road is coming, and letting will be through the Department of Transportation.
Winneshiek County is getting $365,000 in grant funding for the work.
