Winneshiek County supervisors heard concerns from residents Monday morning about difficult driving conditions that have residents fearful, especially when an area company’s trucks are present.
Bridget Casper, of Decorah, spoke about her Quarry Hill and Highland Drive neighborhood. An incident July 20 was referenced by Casper with unsafe driving conditions.
Providing childcare to a grandchild, Casper found herself following one truck when another truck approached. Whiteout conditions made the situation difficult.
