With a theme of Step Up Reach Out, a suicide awareness walk returned to Winneshiek County Saturday.
Kicking off with speakers, the event began at Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health and then moved along the Trout Run Trail through Decorah.
This marked the seventh year for the walk that started with a remembrance that allowed those taking part to recall someone who had died by suicide as well a chance to offer encouragement.
